HAWAII TRIP DAY 2

The next morning we woke up to this....
Dolphins swimming with the trainers, it may be hard to see but the trainer is riding on top of the dolphin...so COOL! After reallizing how darn expensive the meals and snacks would be we decided to head into town to the COSTCO...I was so happy they had a costco and walmart! On the way there the babies decided to take a nap.....So Cute!
Brenda held her head up for a good 15 minutes, What a good grandma!

When we got back to hotel it was time to explore the resort..

They had FLAMINGOS, I could have watched them for hours!
The girls loved this rickety bridge!
Pools, caves and waterfalls, can this trip get any better?!

There were gorgeous birds all over the resort!!

After swimming for a couple hours we went to dinner at the Macaroni Grill. Jodi and I thought the meals would be big so we shared the Chicken Marsala!

Jodi about to eat 1 of the 10 garlic cloves that came with the meal. It came in handy when we had to scare off the vampires later that night (terrible)!

We left the restraunt and we were almost to our hotel room when Jer reallized that he didn't have his cell phone, so we rushed back down there to find that his phone had been stolen. I felt so bad for him, but he handled it very well considering that his life is in that cell phone. We weren't about to let a stolen phone ruin our trip, so we went to bed and continued to play. Day 3 coming soon!

PARADISE...HAWAII TRIP DAY 1

We had the most amazing opportunity stay at the Waikoloa Village Hilton Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii! Thanks to wonderful in-laws, we were able to go with the whole Brisko clan! The picture on the right is from the Hilton Resort Lagoon, more pictures to come!
The first day we flew into Oahu and stayed the night at the Hilton which was right next to the beach! They had Gorgeous colorful fish swimming in ponds, and they even had Penguins and turtles!

We ate at the Shorebird , where you order your meat and grill it yourself....Jeremy cooked me an amazing Teriyaki Chicken and he even threw some fresh pineapple from the salad bar on the grill....YUMM!!!
The next morning we woke up to lots of crazy wind and rain, but that wasn't going to stop us girls from going to the flea market, especially not Melissa who can find any deal anywhere you go and can talk people down to almost nothing! I'd call her a proffesional bargain shopper! (Melissa and Ashley Right) By the time Bob had driven us to the stadium the rain had stopped! We found lots of good deals and super cute jewelry! I had a lot of fun walking around with Jodi, who really tried hard to talk the people down but she's just too stinkin nice!
When we got back we loaded everyone up and headed to the airport for a short....very short plane ride to the Big Island! This is how much luggage it takes for 14 people to vacation in Hawaii! I reallized that when you have kids, travelling is much more difficult (for the parents, not us), but at the end of the day no one was lost and we made it to the hotel! When we arrived at the hotel Bob and Brenda treated us all to the most amazing room service...Pizza and a Turkey Club sandwich!

Thats all for the 1st day, more to come another day!

I love a good deal!

About a year ago Jill (left) taught me how to coupon, and I was obssesed with it! We would go at least once a week, but since have slacked and not gone in months! Great News, we decided to start it up again and I am so excited! Many of my friends and family got sick of hearing about our amazing deals, but now I will be posting the good deals and how we got them, so they can just read them!

Quick note: Just because something is a good deal does not mean that you need to buy it! A lesson I have learned in couponing is that I buy things that we need and use! I went a little hogwild once and bought A LOT of deoderant, which is great if you sweat a lot, but we have a 3 year supply! It was really a great deal, .35 each and its the good kind, but I don't NEED it! The most important thing is to learn about couponing from the proffesionals (aka the bargain moms).

Two sites (both local) that will teach you the basics: Make sure to read couponing 101 it helps a lot!

Redneck Christmas Tree

This is the first year that we have had a Christmas Tree with our own decorations. Grandma Brisko gave us the tree last year, and we love it! I have been buying ornaments on clearance each year and finally was able to compile them to make our very own, very personalized Christmas Tree!
This is not your everyday/ordinary tree. You may not be able to see it from the picture, but Grandpa Cole gave me a bunch of antlers that I shoved into the tree, topped off with the cowboy hat we have a stylish redneck tree. I'm not a huge fan of Perfect "ordinary" trees, I love mod podge style trees. You will also find some BYU and Dolphins ornaments as well! I was lucky enough to find a gorgeous tree skirt for $4 at an after Christmas Sale last year! Overall the tree cost me about $15 and it makes me smile every time I see it!

Although the tree was a little embarrassing at first, it really grew on Jeremy and he even jumped in for a picture, what a great husband!
