Friday night we went to Little America, we ate the famous Roast Turkey Dinner, and stayed and stayed the night! They have the most relaxing and amazing rooms which I would recommend to anyone!
Saturday morning we ate at the Sunshine Cafe on Orchard Dr. (by Walkers Gas Station in North Salt Lake)! If you haven't tried it you've got to go soon, It's amazing and a great price!
Jeremy had the Cinnamon Granola Wheat Pancakes, sounds weird but tastes AWESOME!....Please ignore the mans hairy leg in the background! I tried the sausage breakfast burrito, which was much better than anything I could make, but still not as good as Jeremy's giant pancakes!
Later that afternoon we headed up to Heber to stay the night at Cory and Jill's family cabin!
It was so fun to eat, play games and relax with these awesome folks!
They even let us take the 4-wheeler for a ride. I feel like I was so much tougher as kid....sledding all day with freezing hands and feet and not complaining of the cold, but we were done riding after 10 minutes!
Because we had such a fun weekend we chose to do dinner at home for our actual Anniversary on May 2nd. After dinner Satoshi went up to his room and brought down a dozen red roses for us!! He is such a sweetheart!
The first few years we were married I would stress about where we would spend our anniversary, making sure we did some Amazing thing, but I've grown up a little and reallized that what matters is taking the time to show each other how madly in love you are!
Jer and I started out as good friends in High School and I am so glad that the friendship we had then continues today! Jer is not only my super hot amazing hero, but my best friend for life! Brenda should be proud of the way she has raised her son, he's a good man and an AWESOME husband!
